Dog Training & Behaviour Modification

The love and adoration owners have for their dogs is evident in our training group, which is why we are passionate about helping you and your dog learn new skills and obedience through our different classes.
We realise that every dog, just like every person is different, with their own personality.
Our small and friendly classes allow for a more  tailored approach to training which will help bring out the best in your dog.

Our passion is to help build connections between dogs and their people through positive reinforcement methods. Proud member of the PPGA Australia.

Behavioural Modification

Worried about your dog’s behaviour? It is a common concern amongst pet owners. Here at Leaps & Bounds Dog Training, we give owners the knowledge and skills to help develop and grow positive behaviour. Our behavioural modification classes encourage owners to reward their dog for good behaviour, not bad.

Training at Leaps & Bounds is positive, fun, rewards based training that helps build connections between dogs and their people.

Leaps & Bounds Dog Training uses science based positive reinforcement methods.  We love to see happy and relaxed owners and dogs.
Some of the behavioural problems we work with include:
  • Separation anxiety
  • Puppy biting and mouthing
  • Problem Barking, digging and chewing
  • Resource Guarding
  • Dog reactivity
  • Lead walking
  • Toilet training
  • Multi dog household, setting up for success and help when things are not going well.
  • Teaching your dog to be calm and relax

General Manners and Obedience

Develop the skills needed to teach your dog manners and to be obedient. No matter how big or small, all dogs have the capabilities to learn manners and obedience.

With our private and group lessons, you and your dog are encouraged to form a bond, which is needed to aid in their learning.

From there, we teach you everything you need to know about manners and obedience and what to do if they aren’t co-operating.

A positive learning experience for dogs and owners.
